After-effects of reflexology (up to 48 hours):

Positive:

  • Relaxation and wellbeing

  • Calmer mind, less stress

  • Increased energy, less need for sleep

  • Feeling balanced and light

Temporary reactions (part of healing):

  • Mild illness symptoms (e.g. nausea, cold-like)

  • Emotional sensitivity

  • Tiredness or disturbed sleep

  • Increased urination/sweating

  • Temporary flare-up of existing symptoms

Aftercare:

  • Drink plenty of high-quality water

  • Rest and avoid strenuous activity for 6+ hours

Avoid for 24 hours:

  • Alcohol, caffeine, smoking

  • Long-distance driving

  • Recreational drugs
